Doo wop group the Holidays formed in Pittsburgh, PA, originally comprising vocalists Charlie Hatfield, Frank Gori, Barbara Jo Lippzer, Franny Grisnik and Ramon Lancianese. After enjoying limited success during the late '50s and early '60s with singles like "Lonely Summer,""My Girl" and "Carol," the lineup dissolved; over three decades later, Hatfield and Gori reactivated the Holidays name, however, recruiting new members Ralph Falk, George Price, Lisa Mineri-Kilmer and Sam Ferrella. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
