15th Annual Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop
Get ready to sip, sample and shop your way through one of the most anticipated annual events in Downtown Truckee. This fall marks the 15th year of the Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop, where attendees will experience award winning wines from over 30 different vendors while sampling gourmet food and strolling through local boutiques and shops on Saturday, October 6 from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance, $55 at the door and include a commemorative wine glass for unlimited wine tasting, five food tickets, a goodie bag and a directory of all participating venues. 29th Annual Polish Festival
Experience the Polish culture with your entire family! The Polish American Club of Sacramento, Inc. is hosting the 29th Annual Polish Festival. Come celebrate and learn about the Polish culture through traditional food, drink and song. This afternoon event is appropriate for all ages. Date: Saturday, September 8, 2018 Time: 12-6 pm Location: 327 Main Street, Roseville CA “The best part of the Festival is the food and entertainment,” said Bogdan Komorniczak, Co-chair for the Polish Festival. “There are no Polish Restaurants in the greater Sacramento area so the Polish Festival is the time when people can enjoy authentic Polish food while listening to traditional Polish music, performed by professional musicians.” More than 1500 people are expected to attend this year’s festival. Besides all the wonderful food and entertainment there will be several vendors on-hand selling Baltic Amber, handmade crafts, Polish souvenirs and Polish sausages. 71st Sacramento Armenian Food Festival
Sacramento’s Armenians share their cuisine, festive dance and vibrant culture with the larger community. New for 2018 is the mezzeh (appetizers), offered menu from 5 to 9 p.m. The lunch menu, served from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will include barbecue, shish kabor, rice-filled grape leaves, kufta/stuffed meatballs, cheese bouregs and sweets Admission includes live entertainment. Dancing begins at 5:30 and will include lessons in Armenian line dancing.

8th Annual Barbera Festival
The outdoor wine and food festival will allow guests to sample Barbera wines from more than 70 wineries from across California, enjoy local craft beer, dine on gourmet food from top restaurants and chefs, listen to live music, experience interactive educational programs and peruse offerings from more than 30 artisan vendors. A portion of the Barbera Festival proceeds will benefit the Amador Community Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to enhance the lives and future of local residents. Established in 1972 as a home for foster girls in Napa County, Aldea has grown to support treatment foster care, adoptions, mental health day treatment at the high schools, drug & alcohol treatment for teens, mental health and prevention services in middle and high schools, supported living services for developmentally disabled adults, temporary housing for foster youth and specialty mental health services for early detection of psychosis. The Bodega Seafood, Art & Wine Festival is a wonderful, wild party held on a rural ranch, a few miles inland from the stunning Sonoma coast. This festival showcases regional and national fine artists and craftspeople, combined with lots of delicious food, a rollicking wine, cider and microbrew tasting, fun kids’ activities, and three stages of excellent entertainment. A portion of the proceeds go to two wonderful non-profits; Stewards of the Coast & Redwoods and the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department.

Brew Street is a family-friendly event that will include ice-cold brews, delicious local Sacramento food and live music. This event benefits Runnin' for Rhett, a local Sacramento non-profit that funds after-school youth fitness programs. The amount of money raised will be determined by how much beer we sell. California Brewers Festival
This year brings you nearly 100 breweries and cideries, with over 150 different beverages to sample. We’ll have live entertainment, great chow from local food trucks, our Vendor Village featuring local crafts, and the Fun Zone. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Point West – Sacramento, and the Point West Rotary Club Foundation, the festival has raised nearly $1 million dollars for local charities since its inception. For 2018 we chose WEAVE, Inc. as our charity partner. WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County.

The Summit Expo is organized around the four main ingredients in beer, offering hands-on ingredient experiences, food and beer pairing demos, tasting stations, “Tap Talks” with brewing legends and more. The educational sessions on Thursday and Friday will include tasting, selling, brewing, business and hospitality seminars.
