12th Annual Truckee Brew Fest
The Truckee Optimist Club’s 12th annual Truckee Brew Fest will feature tasting of specialty brews, craft beers and select ciders from Northern California and Nevada breweries. There will also be music by Drop Theory, tasting, dancing, brats, BBQ items, a silent auction, collector tasting glasses, event T-shirts and more. Ticket outlets include Dickson Realty, Tuff Beanz, Auto Glass Express Truckee, Mellow Fellow Truckee, Zanders, and Truckee Optimist members. No dogs allowed. Designated drivers will be admitted free, and taxis will be available. All proceeds benefit education, sports, and arts programs, sponsorships, grants and major scholarships for the youth of Truckee.

2017 Sacratomato Week & Festival
The restaurants, bars and nightclubs in the Sutter District in Midtown present the 2017 Sacratomato Week, which culminates in a free family-friendly festival on Saturday. with creative menu options, drink specials and more. The greater Sacramento community is invited to stroll through the district all week long, visiting the venues to order and enjoy tomato-themed edibles and beverages. The festival on Saturday will take place on the grounds outside of Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park and will serve as a finale to the week, offering chef demonstrations, hands-on children’s activities, music and more.

6th Annual Dad's Day
Denio's Farmer Market will hold its annual Dad’s day, which will include a classic car show, music, craft beers, an open-air market and corn dogs. Display your 1975 or older classic car (or hot rod) and receive refreshments and a swag bag (awarded to the first 100 cars). Set-up begins at 8 am and cars must be on-site by 9. No registration fee for car show entrants.

8th Annual Red Shoe Crawl
The eighth annual Red Shoe Crawl, to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California, will include samples of culinary delights from top regional restaurants leisurely strolling from restaurant to restaurant in downtown and midtown of Sacramento. Participants are encouraged to wear red shoes in honor of Ronald McDonald's trademark footwear. Premium registration begins at noon, general registration at 1 pm.

The Art of Locally Grown
Fork ‘N Road Productions and Il Fornaio Executive Chef Israel Bejar are collaborating with Placer County farmers and ranchers to share the bounty of locally grown food in a hyper-seasonal menu paired with local wines or craft beer. Each ticket includes a gourmet five-course meal, expert pairings with award-winning wines and craft beer from Casque Wines and The Monk’s Cellar, and a luxurious experience while you wine and dine with the winemakers, brewers and producers. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Placer Land Trust, a nonprofit working with willing landowners and conservation partners to permanently protect natural and agricultural lands in Placer County for current and future generations.

Beer Train
The Sacramento Beer Train is a popular favorite event on the local craft beer scene. Each trip features a live band and two beer selections from four Northern California breweries. After finding your assigned seat, you can visit any of the four tasting stations located throughout the train, each pouring two beers from a different Northern California Brewery. During the 2 1/2-hour trip, feel free to wander among the three open-air cars or return to your assigned seat in the enclosed cars to enjoy your beer. Each ticket includes the 2 1/2-hour train ride, a souvenir tasting glass and six tastes of your choice.
