Calistoga Harvest Table
Calistoga Harvest Table® is set for Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 in celebration of a plentiful harvest season. A dozen local restaurants and 40-plus wineries will welcome visitors and locals to 1,000 feet of tables in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown. Calistoga AVA wines will be the focus of a 4:30 p.m. social hour open to the public. When you hear the dinner bell at 6:00 p.m., those holding a ticket will be seated at the table for an unparalleled culinary experience. Calistoga is truly a unique destination for foodies, oenophiles and wellness enthusiasts. See you at the table! Tickets for the fifth annual Calistoga Harvest Table® will go on sale on Monday, July 16 at noontime PDT. Save the date, as tickets traditionally sell fast! Ticket prices vary, based on restaurant selection; a portion of every ticket sale will benefit Calistoga Cares (CAN-V – Community Action of Napa Valley) food bank. Participating restaurants include All Seasons Bistro, Cafe Sarafornia, Calistoga Inn, Restaurant & Brewery, Checkers Restaurant, Culinary Institute of America, Hydro Bar & Grill, Evangeline, Lovina, Napa Valley Crust, Sam’s Social Club, Tanit Pan-Asian Cuisine and Veraison.

Conversations with History: Living at Vikingsholm
Following a “behind the scenes” tour of Vikingsholm castle in Emerald Bay State Park, guests will enjoy wine from Lucchesi Winery and hors d’oeuvres in the courtyard of Vikingsholm. Helen Smith will host an informal conversation about her experiences spending 14 summers at Vikingsholm as a guest of Lora Knight, the owner. Smith will present a signed copy of her book “Vikingsholm,” a guide she authored, to every guest. Reservations are required. Meet at DL Bliss State Park at 5 p.m. to drive into Emerald Bay.

Then on to the kitchen, for a hands-on cooking class where we will turn our bounty into a wonderful wine country feast.
