34th Annual Autumn Food & Wine Festival
The three-day festival showcases the year-round experiential dining opportunities in the region. Unlike other culinary festivals, this one combines mountain terrain and physical exertion with culinary competitions and tastings and includes over 20 culinary events for foodies and explorers. 42nd Annual Sacramento Jewish Food Faire
Now in its 42nd year, the Faire features traditional and modern Jewish cuisine, live entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, activities for all ages, and an opportunity for the entire community to come together for a delicious and unique cultural experience. Feast on traditional and modern favorites such as corned beef, pastrami and brisket sandwiches, lox & bagels, egg combos, blintzes, latkes, falafel, chopped liver, stuffed cabbage rolls, noodle kugel, chicken matzo ball and vegetarian mushroom barley soups, falafel, hummus, expanded vegetarian and gluten-free choices, hard to find specialty foods, and lots of noshes! The 47th Annual ‘Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival’ will be held Sat. & Sun, Aug. 31 & Sept. 1 - in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4. This ticketed event include, LOTS of delicious BBQ provided by our competitors including sides, a sampling of craft beers, a commemorative reusable Govino beer glass with 2019 BBQ Battle Logo, and wine tasting. Nearly a dozen local restaurants and 40-plus wineries will welcome visitors and locals to dine in the center of the city’s picturesque downtown. Calistoga AVA wines will be the focus of a 4:30 p.m. social hour open to the public. When you hear the dinner bell at 6 p.m., those holding a ticket will be seated at the table for an unparalleled culinary experience. Ticket prices vary, based on restaurant selection; a portion of every ticket sale will benefit Calistoga Cares (CAN-V – Community Action of Napa Valley) food bank.
