13th Annual Easter Run & Fun
The 13th Annual Easter Run & Fun will take place at Lodi Lake. 5k and 10k runners and walkers will receive a tech shirt, free pancake breakfast and raffle entry. There’s also a Kids’ Fun Run for youngsters 10 and under. From 9-11:30 am, everyone can enjoy a $5 Pancake Breakfast and a free Easter Carnival at Bear Creek Community Church.

2017 Bird Walks at Bridgeport
The South Yuba River Park Association will hold its 2017 bird walks at Bridgeport on the second Saturday of each month (except August and November). Expect to see wrentit, Nuttall's woodpecker, spotted towhees, black Phoebe, bald eagles and white-crowned sparrows. Meet at the park’s North Parking Lot (just past the South Yuba River-Pleasant Valley Road Bridge). Wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring binoculars.

Benefit/Fundraiser, For the Family
Beer Week 5K
The Beer Week 5K, a chip-timed run, starts at New Helvetia Brewing Co, flows through Sac's Land Park neighborhood and ends back at the brewery for a post-race block party. Registered runners get a dry-fit shirt, craft beer at the finish line, a swag bag and entry to the after-party. All proceeds will go to the NorCal Children's Therapy Center.

BVBB Crab Feed & Concert 2017
This crab feed is a fundraiser for the Bella Vista High School Band & Auxiliary Programs, whose students perform in support of community events throughout the Sacramento region. Choose from a crab or beef dinner, including salad, pasta, rolls, a dessert auction and a no-host bar. There will also be performance by the BV Concert Band, Jazz, Winter Percussion, Drumline and Dance throughout the evening. In addition, there will be a raffle and auctions.

Celebrate Pi Day and the day after, March 14 & 15, 2017 with the Sacramento Walking Sticks
The Sacramento Walking Sticks Club will be celebrating the ratio between the circumference of a circle to its diameter--approximately 3.14--on Pi Day. Tues, Mar 14th come before 3:14 pm and the day after on Wed, Mar 15th come between 6-6:45 pm. We invite everyone, including the family dog, to join in on our event; walking and eating "pie" with us before and/or after the walk. There are 3 loops to choose from; each is close to 3.14 miles in length . Everyone can walk for FREE . Walkers are not timed and are encouraged to look around and enjoy the trails.
