The universal power and appeal of israel’s music is bringing all types of people together in this time of spiritual awakening. “a feeling of true hope for the human race and a promise of good things to all people of goodwill is the message in this roots music.” says israel. His music is full of soulful songwriting and acoustic guitar with gospel harmonies and hard-core reggae drum and bass.

lafa taylor bio:
a world traveler based in oregon, lafa taylor is a rapidly up and coming northwestern emcee/producer. Choosing to rhyme about current issues in a positive and constructive way, his music carries a message of inspiration for all walks of life. You can't help but feel good after attending a lafa taylor show!
Lafa's bass heavy hip-hop beats mixed with reggae, electronica and funk, never fail to get the dance floor moving. His verbal style ranges from sweet melodic vocals to tongue twisting rapid rhymes. He is also known for his intricate beat boxing, and creates live on the spot beats using his voice and a guitar looper pedal. Lafa's live show is energetic, dynamic and unique. He has a great talent for connecting with his audience and working with the energy of the crowd.
In the summer of 2003, at age 17, lafa single handedly produced and released his debut album "life music". In 2004 he released "hot winter". A step into a new realm of music making, lafa created this multimedia album while spending the winter in his father's country of costa rica, with a portable studio in his backpack.
Next lafa headed out to conquer japan. There he joined the multi-platinum band "def tech" on a 26-city, sold out tour. Lafa's song "lift up" with def tech has seen major success in japan. It was licensed for a sony ericsson commercial and the music video saw heavy rotation on mtv japan and space shower. Lafa's third disc, "different" has been a huge success, and brought joy and inspiration to many. Not only are the lyrics witty, uplifting and thought provoking, but the production showcases lafa's maturing skills as beatmaker and producer.
Well loved by many, lafa is rapidly making a name for himself on the west coast, opening for big names as well as headlining his own sold out shows.
