Loni Love with Sam Bamm and Yayne Abeba

A Detroit native, Loni has been working the comedy scene for eight years. She was awarded the Jury Prize for Best Stand Up at the 2003 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen & voted one of Variety's 2003 10 Comics to Watch. She was also a finalist on the first season of CBS' new Star Search. Loni's movie credits include starring roles in the films With or Without You & Soul Plane. Her television credits include guest starring roles on UPN’s Girlfriends & Cuts. Loni played Viola in the NBC Comedy Thick and Thin & she plays Lunch Lady Rose on the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Loni has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Comedy Central’s Weekends at the DL, & The Best Damn Sports Show Period. She has been seen on VH1's I Love the 70's/80's/90's, & I Love The Toys. Loni has a half-hour standup special on Comedy Central that originally premiered in the spring of 2007.
