Slanted Comedy was originated in Los Angeles by the hilarious Filipino comedian Edwin San Juan and has featured several celebrity comedians such as Russell Peters, Bobby Lee, Jo Koy, Gabriel Iglesias, Joey Guila, Ron Josol and many more. In 2008 Slanted comedy teamed up with Alex Retodo Productions to make a monthly live taping show. This show in San Jose has become a magical event that hundreds of people rush to witness.
