Axis Gallery presents "verses & variations" by artist Janice Nakashima.
"In this series, I am going back to an earlier format that relates to the structure of poetry. I am using individual panels as 'phrases' and linking them together to form short 'poems.' This is a series of oil on panel and uses some elements of collage in some of them. My themes include 'incidentals' that have to do with the little things in life such as small words, numbers, and fleeting glimpses of light."
