The Air Around Us

The Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento is pleased to present The Air Around Us, an exhibition by Chris Fraser curated by Rachel Clarke. Fraser works in installation, photography and video. His work is about searching for a direct experience of the optical environment, exploring the changing qualities of light, shadow, and cast images. He often places the viewer at the axis between object and image, where even the smallest of gestures have aesthetic consequences.
