Ovation Stage’s “The Kitchen Witches” by playwright Caroline Smith, produced and directed by Penny Kline, has done it again, with this sure to please hilarious TV cooking show comedy! Dolly Biddle, played by Deborah Shalhoub expertly flings insults at the busy Isobel Lomax, cleverly played by Michele Koehler. Dolly’s son Stephen Biddle, played by Kevin Frame, is so natural in his increasingly confused state as the two women continue to bicker. He does his best to keep them from escalating further on the TV cooking show with the live audience. Erin Dimond, as the On Stage Stage Manager adds to the charm of the cooking show. The show is very funny, full of clever twists and turns. Don’t miss it!
