American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell

This fall the Crocker Art Museum will present a major exhibition of works by one of America’s most iconic and beloved artists, Norman Rockwell. The exhibition will feature more than 50 paintings, 323 original The Saturday Evening Post covers, and some of his most famous illustrations, drawings, and war bond posters.
This is the largest exhibition of the artist’s work in California in a decade and celebrates the full range of Rockwell’s artwork. In addition to the art on view, personal correspondence… Show more and archival photographs offer insight into Rockwell’s life.
