Andrea Lagomarsino, Advanced Placement English and Composition teacher and award-winning master's thesis author on The Great Gatsby, will introduce the novel. Ron Cunningham, Sacramento Ballet artistic director, will discuss the challenges of transforming the novel, with its first-person narrator and unsympathetic cast of characters, into a ballet. The ballet company will perform the dance adaptation of The Great Gatsby, February 7 - 10, at the Sacramento Community Center Theater.
