Biba Rating
disappointed in Biba. Stuffed ravioli tough with little stuffing. Fetucini
terrible-consisted of poorly cooked pasta (no sauce) sprinkled with a minuscule amount of parmesan cheese.
Not enough wait staff,ergo a long wait for meal

Of all the Italian restaurants in the Sacramento region, the two that have most consistently represented the cuisine's highest standards have been Biba in midtown Sacramento and Masque Ristorante in El Dorado Hills.
That means they've adhered most passionately to regional cooking, they've adapted to shifts in seasons with natural grace, and they've not been bound by diners' expectations of what Italian cooking should be.
Both restaurants sprang from strong individuals who appreciate the traditions of Italian cookery without hesitating to tweak it with their own fertile and questing imaginations. The upshot has been cooking and hospitality that's all about pride and unaffected sharing
