Riparian Birding at Cummings-Stathos

Early morning riparian birding will take place at Sacramento's largest open space preserve Cummings-Stathos Property, adjacent to Deer Creek Hills on Sat, Apr 27, from 7am-11am.

Approximately 1 mile of walking on non-trails & large river cobbles are involved on this guided outing.

Hushed tones, walking and stopping are best to bird watch. Wear "quiet" warm, muted earth-tone colors & sturdy boots. Birding scopes, binoculars & cameras, are highly recommended for bird outings.
